Project description

A neighbourhood e-Carsharing project has been installed in two existing residential buildings in the 23rd district of Vienna. The concept is based on the preliminary project "Electric Mobility 2030", where residents have already been given the opportunity to test electric cars.

The rental system has been operated by sharetoo with an VW e-Golf and was also integrated into the existing superordinate rental network of e-Cars in the south of Vienna. An operator model for residential complexes has been developed and tested in a pilot period of 10 months. Furthermore, the charging and driving behaviour has been analysed. In addition, users and residents were interviewed.

The aim of the project was to derive recommendations for further implementation in residential buildings.
