Data protection declaration and information pursuant to Art 13 of the Basic Data Protection Ordinance (DSGVO)

The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the applicable statutory provisions, namely the National Data Protection Act 2000 (DSG 2000), the European Data Protection Basic Regulation (DSGVO) and the Telecommunications Act (TKG). In this data protection declaration we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing in connection with your visit to and use of our website and the use of our services.

Your data will be processed by us for the following purposes: (a) to prepare and deliver advertisements and descriptions of our products and services, to invite you to professional events, (b) to respond to your inquiries and follow-up questions, including to prepare offers for contracts for our products and services, (c) to fulfil existing contracts for our products and services, and (d) to operate and optimise our website.
Data processing for advertising purposes (a) is carried out on the basis of consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit a DSGVO or on the basis of legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit f DSGVO.
The data processing for answering your inquiries and follow-up questions, including the preparation of offers for contracts for our products and services (b) as well as for the fulfilment of existing contracts for our products and services (c) takes place on the basis of the fulfilment of the contract or pre-contractual measures pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit b DSGVO.
Data processing for the operation and optimisation of our website (d) shall be based on legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. This is the legitimate interest in the operation of the website and in marketing.
If you are already a customer/business partner of ours or wish to become one, i.e. have an existing contract or wish to conclude one, you are obliged - on the basis of the contract - to provide certain personal data which are necessary within the framework of the contractual relationship. Failure to do so would result in e7 being unable to provide services to you.

Personal data will only be processed within e7.

Personal data that we process is only stored until the purpose for which it was processed is fulfilled. Contact data will be stored in accordance with legal requirements.

As a data subject within the meaning of data protection law, you have the following rights in particular:

  • Right to information about your processed personal data;
  • Right to correction or deletion or restriction of processing;
  • Right to object to the processing;
  • Right to data transfer.

If you are of the opinion that the processing of your data violates the data protection law or your data protection claims have otherwise been violated in any way, you can complain to the data protection authority.
If data processing is based on your consent, you can revoke your consent to data processing at any time in writing to datenschutz@e-sieben.at (e-mail sufficient). A revocation does not affect the legality of the processing based on the consent up to the revocation.

We therefore request that you visit these web pages directly in order to obtain the data protection information required for the respective web pages there. e7 cannot be held liable for measures taken from these web pages or for their content.

7. Cookies

Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your end device with the help of the browser. They do not cause any damage.
We use cookies to make our website user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. They enable us to recognise your browser the next time you visit.
If you do not wish this, you can set up your browser so that it informs you when cookies are set and you only allow this in individual cases. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of our website may be restricted.

8. Web Analysis

In order to optimise our website, we use the web tracking tool "Matomo" (formerly: Piwik), which is operated on our own server. Matomo is used in compliance with data protection regulations in accordance with the GDPR. The IP addresses are immediately anonymised by Matomo, making it impossible to identify visitors. The anonymous statistical data is stored separately from any personal data you may have provided and does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about a specific person.

9. Newsletter

This website uses the service of the company Brevo (formerly: SendinBlue) to send out the newsletter.
If you register for the newsletter, the data you enter (e-mail address) and your IP address will be stored on the company's servers within the EU (Austria).

You have the option of subscribing to the newsletter via our website. To do this, we need your e-mail address and your declaration that you agree to receive the newsletter. As soon as you have registered, we will send you a confirmation e-mail with a link to confirm your registration (double opt-in).

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by clicking the unsubscribe button in the newsletter.
Personal data is not passed on to third parties for the purposes of advertising, market research or opinion polling.

10. Google reCAPTCHA

This website uses the "reCAPTCHA" service provided by Google Inc. ("Google") to distinguish whether the forms provided on this website are being completed by a natural person or abusively by automated machine processing. This includes sending the IP address and any other data required by Google for reCAPTCHA to Google.

11. Data Security

Your data will be hosted by a provider located within the European Union. Both e7 and the provider use technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons. Notwithstanding our efforts to maintain a reasonably high standard of care at all times, it cannot be excluded that information you disclose to us via the Internet may be viewed and used by others.
Please note that we therefore accept no liability whatsoever for the disclosure of information due to errors in data transmission not caused by us and/or unauthorised access by third parties (e.g. hack attack on email account or telephone, interception of faxes).

In the course of ongoing development, this privacy policy will continue to be adapted. Changes to our website will be announced in good time. Therefore, you should regularly access this data protection declaration in order to inform yourself about the current version.
