Energy concept and life cycle costs for the new construction of a residential building

A buikder in Vienna planned the construction of a new residential building in Vienna. As the connection to the district heating system was not possible or very cost-intensive, the question of an alternative energy supply concept arose. Options for cooling the building were also to be considered.

E7 prepared several options for an energy concept and simulated the expected energy flow with the Polysun software. Based on the concept and the energy requirements, e7 prepared a cost estimate for construction and operating costs and compared these with a reference variant. Based on this, the life cycle costs were determined and the effects on CO2 emissions were presented.
