Kick-Off Meeting for EU4Energy Initiative in Tbilisi, Georgia
On 1 October 2019, a kick-off meeting was held on the subject of drafting secondary legislation for the introduction of a regular inspection of heating and air-conditioning systems as part of the integration of Articles 14 - 18 of Directive 2010/31/EC (EPBD) into a national legal framework.
Georgia is currently implementing the energy efficiency acquis of the Energy Community with the aim to improve the legislative and regulatory framework regarding energy. In this context, e7 is assisting the Georgian government in drafting a new regulation on the regular inspection of heating and air conditioning systems. Furthermore, guidelines and a roadmap should support practical implementation.
